Politics and Christianity: Illinois Poll: Huckabee and Giuliani In A "Virtual Dead Heat"

The Chicago Tribune reports on the new Tribune/WGN-TV poll in Illinois:

"Among Republican voters in the state, the poll shows that former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's surge of support in Iowa also has reached Illinois. He and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani are in a virtual dead heat atop the list of GOP contenders,..."

Comment Policy

1. Speak the truth in love
Comments containing untruths and misrepresentations will be deleted unless we think it more important that they be corrected by dialogue with other readers of Politics and Christianity.

Truth is not always pretty, and attempts to clarify can sometimes be cutting (e.g. satire, irony, etc.). However, every attempt should be made to keep comments within the bounds of Christian civility.

Comments that appear to be cut-and-paste propaganda, rather than attempts to dialogue, will be deleted.

5. Don't assume too much
Sometimes we will respond to your comment and other times we will not; so, (a) do not think we are uninterested in what you have to say if we do not respond, and (b) do not assume that we agree with someone just because we do not respond, -- we actively practice both Proverbs 26:4 and Proverbs 26:5.

6. Publish your ideas instead
