Breathe, Baby, Breathe

As I enter into my last trimester of pregnancy, the nesting instinct is beginning to set in. After six months of feeling pukey and sluggish, I am actually beginning to get a slight burst of energy. Okay, it is very slight. I am still feeling pretty sluggish which isn't exactly helped by the June Texas heat. However, my growing bulge is getting pretty hard to ignore and so I have to face reality. I will soon have another bundle of 'crying and keeping me awake at night' joy. I had better get my house in order and quick.

As I have taken inventory of what I will need for the new baby, I realized that I already have all the big items I need. After four previous children I have acquired the necessary baby paraphanalia - crib, bassinet, stroller, porta-crib, carseat, highchair, etc. So when my mom asks what she can give me for the baby, I have a different answer. An air purifier.

After changing my a/c filter the other day, I was aghast at the junk I saw. I can't let my baby breathe in that! And so I set about doing my homework on air purifiers. A great resource is aircleanersguide.com where you can get all the information you need on on various types and how they work, air cleaners and cigarettes, getting rid of pet odors, and a guide to the brands and what to expect for the money.

Hopefully, when I come home from the hospital my baby and I will both breathe a lot easier.
